[FR] - Krōdha est un groupe de metal progressif/alternatif venant d'Angers (France) et existant sous sa forme actuelle depuis 2016.
Riche d'influences diverses (mathcore, noise, musique traditionnelle, post-metal...), la musique du groupe se veut introspective et cathartique, en alternant entre rythmes inattendus, accords aériens et dissonances sombres.
La formation défend à travers ses paroles une vision consciente du monde et du rapport entre l'Homme et son environnement. Son engagement s'illustre par son soutien aux associations Rock For Dogs, Sea Shepherd ou Survival International.
Après une dizaine de concerts en 2017, et notamment après avoir remporté le prix du jury (David et Frank Potvin de Dome Studio/One-Way Mirror/Lyzanxia, Matthieu Bablée de Zenzile et Fabrice Nau du Chabada) au TREMA, le groupe débute l’auto-production de son premier album fin 2017, faisant suite à leur démo "Anemoia" sortie en 2016.
Le 23 février 2018, Krōdha sort son premier album, « Ignoramus ».
[EN] - Krōdha is a progressive/alternative metal band from Angers (France), existing in its current form since 2016.
Rich of diverse influences (mathcore, noise, traditional music, post-metal…), the band’s music intends to be introspective and cathartic, alternating between unexpected rythms, ethereal chords and dark dissonances.
Through its lyrics, the formation defends a conscious vision of the world and of the link between mankind and its environment. Its commitment illustrates itself by its support to associations as Rock For Dogs, Sea Shepherd or Survival International.
After around ten live shows in 2017, and especially after winning the jury prize (given by David and Franck Potvin of Dome Studio/One-Way Mirro/Lyzanxia, Matthieu Bablée of Zenzile and Fabrice Nau from Le Chabada) at the TREMA, the band starts the DIY production of its first album at the end of the year, following their demo « Anemoia », released in 2016.
On 23 February 2018, Krōdha releases their first album, « Ignoramus ».
